Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Registration and Payment for Classes / Seminars / Events
Please always consider your schedule when booking class, lessons, rentals, and other appointments at The Dog Mall. We keep our class size low so the instructors can give you the most coaching possible; In the case of private lessons, we actually plan those on days where there is little or no other activities in the building. We understand that "life" can happen every so often, but please plan your time accordingly. In most cases, we run classes and lessons back to back, so make sure you leave a little time to potty your dog and are ready when class or your lesson starts. It makes everything run so much smoother!
Registration and Payment for Classes, Lessons, Seminars and Events
Enrollment in classes, seminars or events is on a first come, first-serve basis. In order to secure your dog’s place, payment must be made at time of registration. Registrations that are not paid for, in full, do not hold a spot in the class. On-line registration and payment are available for all group classes/seminars/events. If you are unable to provide payment on line, please contact us at email@example.com to make other arrangements.
Cancellations for Classes
Our class sizes are limited to 4-6 dogs to ensure quality. We regret that we are unable to refund class registration fees and they cannot be transferred to another class. If the Dog Mall needs to cancel a class for any reason we will provide a full refund.
Cancellations for Pool Rentals / Private Pool Sessions
If you need to reschedule your pool rental or private pool lesson, this must be done 48 hours ahead of time. We staff our sessions ahead of time, so cancelling appointments the day of the lesson doesn't allow us enough time to fill the spot.
Rescheduling is totally in your control! You can reschedule on your own without calling us in the confirmation email where it says "Change/Cancel Appointment". On the next screen, you can click "Reschedule" and select a new day/time.
Please do not click "cancel", and then re-book your appointment. this does cancel your appointment, but you do not automatically get refunded and you'll have to repay again. Ultimately, it creates more work on our end because we need to manually refund you. it's much easier to just reschedule your current lesson to another day and it's totally in your control!
Cancellations for Rehabilitation or Fitness Appointments
If you need to cancel your Rehabilitation or Fitness Appointment this must be done 24 hours ahead of time in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Any appointments cancelled after this will be charged a $25 fee.
Cancellations for Special Events (i.e. Seminars / Workshops / All other events)
Since many of our special events require planning well in advance of the event we cannot offer refunds. If you cannot attend after registering for the event you need to notify us in writing at email@example.com and if we are able to fill your spot you will receive a refund minus a $25 service charge but if the spot does not fill no refund will be given.
Rescheduling and Make-Ups of Class
Please carefully consider your schedule, commitment to training, and your dog before registering for a week to week class (e.g, 4-week class, 6-week class, etc.) . There are no make-ups for missed classes. If you feel you cannot commitment to a class for any reason, please consider private lessons. If the Dog Mall needs to cancel a class for any reason, the class will be made up.
A returned check does not constitute a valid payment, therefore not holding your class/seminar enrollment. A $25.00 fee will be charged for each returned check.
Summary of Policy:
There are no make-ups for class that you miss (except if cancelled by us).
Appointments and rentals require 24 hour notice to be cancelled for a refund.
Refunds for Seminars, Workshops, and all other events can only be given if the spot you are giving-up is filled.
